I agree, he has lead both races so far and pulled some amazing moves this morning. Maybe if honda do something about their poo car, jenson could get
up there aswell!
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

I've always said jenson was rubbish... put him and lewis hamilton in the same car, hamilton would show him up i think.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Jenson never had a chance, they hardly ever used to talk to his dad.
Actually Mr Hamilton Snr must of had a great day when his son got that F1 drive, and he decided to do the right thing and travel the world with him.
I can imagine the conversation in the office....
He seems really nice, lets hope for a happy ending.

Lewis is good for sure, way too early to say how good though, and I have to say that everyone seems to be forgeting how good the guy who won the race
was
As for Jenson, it was only last year he was the greatest thing since sliced bread, amazing the difference a good/bad car can make to a reputation.
I also think Nico Rosberg, given the right car, could do as good a job as Hamilton, and could have done it last year too (but I was a big fan
of his old man so maybe a touch of the rose tints there )
Cheers
Alex
PS
And DC would have beaten Webber if he wasn't using the locost version of an F1 pedalbox

Button has always been overrated. So has DC. Villeneuve could've been better but I think his agent got in the way. But what do I know.
By the way, I have an autograph from Gilles Villeneuve from the British GP 1978 (Brands). Anybody have any idea what it's worth? I really have
no idea.

Come on,
I'd be good if I'd been schooled from 10 years old by the team boss.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I actually think Button is better than he has shown to date (but would probably agree that he has been overrated by the press for years), and DC IMO
is underrated not overrated although I'll happily admit he is not the best qualifier.
Interesting point Pete, do you think Ron has been attempting the "my fair Lady" theory on LH?
If so, then it appears to have worked but could it be done with just anyone?
Personally I doubt it, there has to be some talent there to start with, surely?
Cheers

Jenson has been over-hyped, but not over-rated. His problem has been that for the last few years he's been the only British driver who looked
capable of winning anything in F1 so the press / ITV concentrated all their efforts on talking him up and seemingly trying to convince everyone
he'll win the championship this year/next year etc, which some people believe, whilst it seems to evoke a reaction to shoot him down and
criticise him in others.
None of that is his fault though, and Lewis is now getting exactly the same (if not more) hype from that same segment of the British media, but in a
year or two's time if Mclaren drop off the pace a bit or Lewis has a bad race, the same will be said of him unfortunately.
Im sure exactly the same happens in other countries with their own drivers, we just don't see it so are less inclined to perceive a driver in
such a way.
