Fein MultiMaster

Has anyone used one of these ? are they anygood for cutting etc. Not cheap !! and cutting tools seem gross expensive.
Is there a cheaper option out there?

Iv'e got one, amazing bit of kit, we use it for cutting floorboards etc in places where you can't get anything else in. As you've already noticed the blades are expensive, and don't last long, if you hit a nail the blade is fecked.
I guess some of the other cutting attachments would last longer. Only other gripe i have with mine is the blade tightens onto a round shaft and comes loose easily and frequently. i think later models have been revised and have a splined shaft.

There are different blades for different tasks. The wood blades cut aggresively but as mentioned are ruined if you hit a nail. There are less aggressive blades available of hardened steel that will cut thru metal.

Great tool.
