Fireproof Sheet
Just finished burying all the junk from our garage but iv got to leave some stuff in there (christmas lights, some of dads paper work etc). Im abit
worried that when i finally get to start welding my chassis, some of this stuff might catch fire.
Does anyone know where to get a fireproof sheet that i can put over all this stuff to protect it from my beginner welding? (Needs to be pretty big as
one of the christmas decs is a 4 meter long board)
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

Full sheet of MDF, or even hardboard.
The welding sparks are only hot for a second or two, so all you need to do is intercept them so that they fall to the floor.
IMHO, of course...

I use some old fibreglass curtains (They were popular in the early 70's) with a nice leaf print.
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!
