I don't think anyone is "bothered" by it, but TBH when a bloke tries to pass himself off as a woman, it's usually
laughable.
Did you see the size of his hands ?
Also he seems to have "married" Fred West

It maybe that I have had a long day.
You are quite right. Its unfortunate that most people who experience gender dysphoria do not do anything about it until they are over 30 or 40 for
what ever reason that may be. I would say that the younger you are when you undergo hormone treatment the more 'convincing' you would be
as you havent had 30+ years of testosterone to overcome.
You would think most people would have voice training, but it seems some dont bother. There is actually only half an octave difference in the average
male and female voice.

You can get vocal cord surgery to tighten them and make the voice higher..... Whereas too much deep sea diving and helium makes the voice lower...
What saddens me about the transgender people I have met is that they appear to be quite touched that I treat them as I would anyone else.... which
kind of suggests other people don't..... (I'm not blowing my own trumpet BTW- just highlighting the fact people with this condition often
get rough treatment in life). To have gender dysphoria would appear bad enough, for people to somehow look down upon people with it just compounds the
problem....
I wish more people were understanding about conditions like this and perhaps thought "there by the grace of god/allah/budda/satan/FSM (delete
where applicable) go I"....
So many studies have shown that internal gender orientation and sexual orientation have nothing to do with upbringing or nuture- it's pure
hardwiring- ie no choice involved. Okay you can choose to live a lie but why?? If we lived in a society where homosexuality was the norm how many
hetero people could honestly say they could (of their own choice) stop fancying the chicks... most would live a single life and never be sexually
fulfilled (which rather seems a shame).....
If you're a woman in a bloke's body you're a woman in a man's body. End of.... Corrective surgery (and the stigma still
unfortunately associated with it) is such a difficult path to go down that to imagine that anyone would go down that route unless they had basically
no choice is kind of missing the point...
Oh well, rant over!

Ben,
Agree totally with that. I have heard some horror stories about some appaling treatment of some TG people. Including people being completely disowned
by their families.
Theres some quite strict equality rules in place to 'protect' people at work (only implemented recently suprisingly!), though I dont see
how it can stop the snide and hurtful comments which go on behind peoples backs.
At the end of the day we are each free to live our lives as we wish, and no one else can judge us based on that alone.
People are no more able to choose their sexuality or gender as they are able to choose skin colour they are born with. Its about time society started
accepting that not everyone follows the 'norms'. Hell it was actually illegal to be gay until 1967, and the 60s were the years of freedom
apparently.

Exactly. Alan Turin commited suicide becuase of societies view on his sexuality. Who knows how further he could have advanced science.
Going back even 20 years or so medical science was still fumbling around about sexuality thinking it was a mental condition. Its only in recent years
that the proof has been found that DNA has an effect.
I find people who are gay are generally much friendlier people, thankfully with it not being a tabo subject in society now there are a lot less
"militant gay, angry at the world" type people about.

Just as I am unable to look at a bloke in a dress and pretend they look like a woman, it's sad, they'll always look like a bloke in a
frock, mainly 'cos that'sd what they are.
It doesn't matter how female they feel, they won't be accepted as a woman 'cos they aren't one, and they (at least the
majority) don't look anything like one.
As far as I can see there's nothing they can do

If you undergo full gender reassignment then legally (ergo technically) you are a woman. Your birth certificate will even be changed to say female.
What matters is it makes the person feel better, though dealing with 'society' would be the tough bit. I think the old adage applies - if
you have nothing nice to say, dont bother saying it
Some people who suffer gender dysphoria wont pass as a woman as well as others might. I bet you can find a load of TG people who look a damn sight
better than some natal females and visa versa.
Same with the voices thing, Chers voice is deeper than the majority of male voices, but its accepted she is female.
