peugeot 306 d alarm
hi all,
anybody know anything About alarms on an old pug 306 diesel
changed the battery today!
now the alarm has reset it self and the remote doesn't work to switch it off.
tried the on off key under bonnet,
but no joy !
it hasnt got a key pad so must work off the key (but not working)
any ideas or is there a way to by pass it

From what you describe i think i had the same problem with my 306 a while ago and think if you disconnect the battery then turn on the ignition and
reconnect the battery again it should work. If that doesn't work try searching in this forum

CHEERS for that,
sorted it now.
a couple of months ago i went on holiday and some nice person tried to steel it !
and they ripped the sounder button out,
shorted that together and switch ignition on and its cured,
cheers anyway
