Cutty Sark fire
heard on the news this morn that the cutty sark has been in a fire.
The pictures look pretty bad, the timber that was there is pretty damaged, although luckily alot of it has been removed as its being renovated at the
mo.
hope it gets rebuilt as remember going around her in my youth and had wanted to go again.

On the jeremy vine show on radio 2 today they were talking about that and a lot of people say'd that so long as the iron frame is reused, most
people would see as being original and as most of the parts were away being restored it could have been a lot worse.
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

I went on it a month before it closed for a evening dinner with work and it was a great venue, really interesting history. They are saying that about
50% was away for restoration though so hopefully they can rebuild.
