don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Nah, actually its volcanoe eruptions. Plants do a good job at covering up our CO2 emissions by converting them to O2.

i wouldnt mind a bet that plants alone wouldnt be enough even without mans machines, now theres so many of us!
Im not totally familiar with the carbon cycle but i wouldnt mind a bet that volcanos are in equilibrium, ie, they're nothing new. They are only
kicking out co2 from rocks/magma, in the long run rocks are being made at the same speed.

Biggest greenhouse gas on the planet is water vapour, so Gordon Brown better start taxing clouds!
Did my bit for CO2 last weekend, when I burnt most of my mothers shed. Bit more to do
Well, it either releases CO2 when burning, or vast quantities of methane/CO2 when rotting.

I am not convinced about the whole global warming thing.. Mars is showing the same temperature increases as earth... so it may have more to do with
solar activity..

If you read the statistics, 1 volcanic erruption adds the same ammount of CO2 to the atmosphere as the entire human race since the industrial
revolution....
Kinda puts all the lies on telly into perspective......
