Valve guides

Ahhhhh. Just spent ages grinding the valves in only to find that 4 of the valve guides are worn and the valve flaps around lots. Can i replace the guides myself? If not, how much are they, where can i get em and who can fit em?

Thanks very much for all responses in advance. I really dont wanna buy a new head!

Have you got a press? If not then get someone else to do it.

And, the second time I've posted this link today, have a read of this from Guy Croft...

whoops - 2.0L ecotec 16v. Inlet guides have worn. Have heard that they can be frozen and tapped out with a hammer. Ok, sounds bodged, but if it works then I'm game.

Cheers again

Replacing them is not so much of an issue, but the valve seats must be re-cut (NOT just reground) afterwards.
