Reminds me of a guy that I used to work with. He was a keen canoeist and went to something like the British Canoeing Championships where, in addition
to the normal C2, C4 (Canadian canoe with 2 or 4 crew), K1, K2 (kayak with 1 or 2), etc. they had a "CB" class, i.e. for Cardbaord canoes.
Apparently the team that won made a canoe out of that waxy cardboard that is used to store/transport frozen fish and stuff!
