Does anyone else think.......
......that we're (ie the UK) clearly up against some feckless idiots?
All terrorists are ignorant biggots but at least the IRA knew how to blow things up!!!
This country is so in the poo we don't even attract top quality terrorists anymore!! They fill a car with LPG cannisters, shed loads of petrol,
some kind of sparking device and somehow manage NOT to blow it up??? That takes some doing!!
Perhaps the Merc was a diesel 
Oh well, hopefully they'll practice @ home and blow their antisocial murdering butts into space....

I can remember when I was suspended from school for doing an "authorised exothermic chemistry experiment" in lunch break....
My chemistry teacher wasn't annoyed I'd whipped a load of chemicals from the lab and mixed them up then torched them, he was annoyed with
some of the stuff I'd put in it!!! He said if I was going to do well in the A-levels I should have known how to it properly and blown the entire
locker room up......
Oh well, we live and learn!!!

Heh sounds like mine. He told me about painting keyholes with Nitrogen Triiodide.
One of his experiments was buring rocket fuel (IIRC) as a demonstration which gave a jet a few feet high. 'cept the last time he did it, it was
in a different lab with a lower ceiling.
