Anyone going to Silverstone?
My misses bought me tickets for my birthday going up tonight and back on monday

NOT ME
I'll be competing at three sisters sprint on sunday so I will be o.k.
My brother in law the lucky b@st@rd got a free invite for the race on sunday.
His tickets arrived yesterday and he has got:
invitation from ING renault
VIP pass to the Renault paddock club hospitality.
pit lane access on sunday
unlimited champagne and booze
hospitality grandstand seat
renault F1 team car park pass.

he isnt even bothered about F1 either!!!!!!
but he wont give me his ticket
i just thought i would check online to see if i could find the price of his ticket
2000 euros plus VAT!!!!!
works out at £1586.00 for the day. tremendous value

going in the morning, up at 4 on the road for 4.30 to be there for 8.30am.
uuuuuuuugggeeeee f1 fan, but never been to silverstone on account of what always seemed expensive tickets and stories of bad value.
got full hospitality for friday for free so to hell with my principles. any advice on getting the best from test day friday and where to go watch
etc.
apparentley got grandstand seat near brooklands.

been a bit of a rush job really, bodged it all together in just 5 1/2 years.

You must stand at the entry to Maggotts at least once to see an F1 car It will blow you away  They come out of copse in 5th or 6th gear straight at
you at close to 200mph before turning into maggotts without lifting off the throttle. You can also get within 12ft to the track.
