Saving video from websites

From the likes of news stories and Youtube etc, how do you do it ?

if you're using firefox go to their add ons site and download an appropriate add on to download from whatever site you require. there are some really easy to use ones but I don't have one that i'd recommend particularly over the rest.

If you're not using firefox, download firefox and then do step 1!

*EDIT* while you're at the add on site download some other handy things like the English dictionary which spell checks as you type, cooliris previews which I won't explain but is invaluable, and Add blocker plus which as you may already have guessed, blocks adds!
