RANT Time
Hi all
apologies not LOCOST related but I'm angry,
my lovely girlfriend has just finished 4 years hard studying so I treated her to a trip to rome with her friends, which sadly work commitments meant i
couldn't make.
she sets off with her friends this morning at 3am to luton. I get a call at 5, saying she's lost her passport after checkin, So I drive down
with her other one (dual nationality) it actually turns out it had been nicked, as when i saw her her pocket had been cut with a blade to get it and
she didn't notice.
so i get on the blower to cancel it etc etc,
ANGRY
THEN i get a call at dinner after shes arrived saying she'd been pick pocketed and they've had her cash and bank card.
two things:
1) luckily she'd split her money and cards so is OK (card now cancelled)
2) she's not a dumb girl and has travelled with me alot and is very clued up about these things.
NOW she's all upset and I'm in a proper strop that some thieving expletive expletive expletive has done this
AARRRRGGGGHHH
rant over.........
going to drink beer and use the BIG hammer

Sorry to hear about your troubles,
Last year my wife was in Saint Peter's Square
Rome and she had things pinched from her hand bag.
It was train tickets from London to Bangor North Wales. I doubt the thief would have been able to use them, but the inconvenience to my wife was
considerable.
Hope your girlfriend gets home safely.

Hmmm, I'm off to Spain tomorrow.
Flying from Luton!
Let this be a warning to us all!
Cheers,
James

You can't beat keeping cash, cards, passport etc in a money belt whilst travelling in foreign climes, or here for that matter these days.
Oh and sew some fish hooks into the pockets you don't use!
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!
