pal.dvdr movie
got a movie on my computer came as a zip file. i have unzipped it but cant open it. the file is an IMG.file. anybody got an idea on how to open it.

.IMG is an image file ready for burning, similar to .ISO, UltraISO will open these files and allow you to extract the contents or something like
Alcohol 120% will burn it straight to disk

as above.
Use MagicISO to mount the img as a virtual drive then away you go.
Obviously do a AV scan on the "disc" as soon as it's mounted just in case it isn't what you think it is!!!! Some nasties hide
themselves in formats the virus checkers can't read- not sure if most AV progs handle .IMG files....

For compatability just rename it from .IMG to .ISO
Then just about any imaging software and CD/DVD burning program will be able to read it.
Personally I use Daemon Tools to mount an ISO images stored on the hard disk.

DVD Decrypter is a good free app too.
|
