Morph-Plast is moldable plastic, I've made knobs and buttons with it. There are also modelling clays like Fimo and Sculpy that you bake in the oven after you've shaped them. Faber make Fimo so it should be pretty widely available. It depends how big the parts are that you want to make.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Polymorph turns into a plasticine type dough at 62° and can be mouled by hand but not poured. Polyester casting resin (resin C) can be poured into a mould. fibreglass suppliers will sell it.

I think that you want to use Resin.

In the model world the cost of tooling up for a injected plastic kit is huge. small manufacturers use resin as a low cost alternative. make a copy of what you want in say balsa (easy to use) and than use a rubber compound to make the mould and then cast the final shape in resin

You might want to look @

http://www.resincasting.co.uk/

for stuff about mould making and resin casting. CFS might not be the cheapest suppliers but they do good delivery times and they've got the stuff in stock!!
