Portable DAB / MP3 Player

Hi All,

I have been looking at something like this
Link

I fancy an MP3 mainly for in the car but a DAB would be good as well so I can listen to the cricket / sport etc on 5 live extra etc. Is this unit DAB as it says Digital FM radio but in the Tesco catalogue it says DAB.

Anyone recommend one that will do what I want?

Many thanks,
Steve

You lazy git!

Ten seconds on Google had me the USER MANUAL , which confirms it is NOT DAB.

FWIW, I have one of THESE, which although sucky in the DAB department, does seem to to an admirable job for the cash.

The prob with these things for use in a car as a radio is the aerial, since it uses the wire to the jack plug as the aerial. Unless you keep the wire stretched out the reception is quite poor while driving so as such it defeats the purpose.

I had an Oono MD-One, and it was frankly pants. DAB reception was poor, sound quality on MP3 isn't fantastic, the thing felt too light, cheap and plasticky, and then I smashed the screen whilst working on the car
