Eeek, track day drive in C400 caterham
The driver of the car I spanner for in Caterham C400 superlight duratecs has called me today and said he has booked a track day at silverstone on 10
Nov by way of thanks, for me and the other mechanic to take the C400 racer out.................
eeek, never driven at silverstone before, never driven a superlight before (at 220hp and 515 kg its a fair bit quicker than my road VX locost with
204hp and 540kg) and at £33k I really don't want to crash it
Wish me luck

Doesn't yours have a splash more torque? I think they actually look pretty equal on paper, but the C400 by reputation should handle
slightly better.
If you're worried takes yours along as well
p.s. Good luck, well done, have fun, don't crash!

Hi good on the driver for giving the team a treat. ( but it's a bribe so you are back next year with the spanners )
You can relax about the driving as it's silverstone. Plenty of run off and a ( assuming club circuit ) verry easy to learn.
Hope you have some glourious weather that weekend. As i am at snett on the 11th.
cheers Matt
