machine mart VAT free day in glasgow
anyone know when it is? i had a leaflet for it, but it got thrown away

tried phoning the one in glasgow, no answer plus its not normally open sundays...
i seem o remamber something about different stores doing it different days
and is there not 2 days too?

Are you sure ? Usually MM branches have their own VAT free days (all different), not a national one. I've not had my invite if it is

just did a search on the internet for machine mart "vat free days" and you get loads of posts on different forums, all saying different
dates, one says 17th and 21st oct this year.

i remember looking at the invite thinking, thats funny, its a sunday.
took a drive up there just now an it was shut. I'll phone tomorrow and find out when the next one is, i pretty sure the was 2 days, one in
october, the 2nd in nov...

TODAY for Mansfield branch.
They didn't send me an invite.
I have been waiting for the VAT free day for ages.
Perhaps I should not have told them how inept they were last time I tried to return something. T**ssers.

i was sure there was 2 dates this week. the flyer only came through about 2 weeks ago, and i remember looking at it then, thinking thats a few weeks
away yet... I'll give them a call tomorrow, maybe they send cards to people for different days (clutching at straws here, trying to convince
myself i WILL save £30...)

not worried about the VAT free thingy anymore, seen this one on ebay instead, buy it now, inc delivery, same price as the machine mart one is without
VAT (1 ton crane at machine mart £129 ex vat, £152 inc vat, ebay, 2 ton, £130 inc vat and delivery)
