Insurance
Hi Guys,
Does anyone know if you have to declare a motorbike crash on your car insurance and vice versa? Or are the policy types seperate due to the fact one
is car and one is bike?
Cheers,
O

Can't say for def. but I'd be inclined to include all claims/accidents.
If you don't and then have a claim I suspect they'll wriggle out of paying 'cos you didn't declare it.
No doubt someone will be along in a minute to give you chapter and verse.

And here's another one- if a no-claims bonus doesn't make any difference to the amount you have to pay to insure a kit car (ie they ignore
NCB) does that mean that when you get tintop car insurance you don't have to mention any kit car crashes cos the NCB wasn't in force
then.....
I reckon not

IMHO you should reveal all claims or accidents
They normally ask if YOU have had ANY accidents, convictions or claims.
Dont give them an excuse not to pay out if the worst happens

I bit the bullet and phoned the car insurance company and you do not have to declare any bike crashes on your car insurance. They are different for
policy purposes :-D
