Stolen
Not car but bike related - trust no-one minds - there are a lot of bi-polar (car & bike) members on here.
Local (Reading) Velocette owner and all-round good guy Dave Downer had his 1950's Velocette Viper sprint bike stolen from outside his home in
broad daylight 19th Sept. Bike was in a four wheel box trailer with all his tools. Bike will probably be broken as it's so distinctive.
Just in case anyone is offered any cheap Velo bits perhaps they can let me know.
Cheers, Pewe

If it was stolen two months ago, it will already have been stripped and spread all over the country or it will be bundled up in some lock-up for a
year or two.....

hate to say it but thats either been an opportunist in which case they don't know what they have and it will probably be destroyed or stolen to
order and it will never be seen again.
Might be worthwile putting an appeal out in ClassicBike magazine etc.
Stealing a persons motorcycle should be punishable by whatever means the owner seems fit, but stealing tools should be a mandatory capitol crime
