I run LPG in the transit. 60L tank costs me about £30. However I have to agree with the above statements, if it becomes popular then the price will
increase exponentially. The cost has increased from 45.9p to 51.9 over the last week or so...
If its broke, fix it. If it aint broke, take it apart and find out how it works!

The price of veggie oil has gone from 56p generally to 68p since it started flying off the supermarket shelfs.
We go to Tesco in Durham couple of times a week and theres NEVER any 3L bottles on the shelf. When they have it in you do see the odd empty lying in
the car park!
I was buying a 20L box in Macro for £9.60 but even that has gone up to £12.15....

its to be expected sadly! I would by some myself for the sprinter but a breakdown would cost me far more than i could hope to save, so to me its not
worth the risk.

It sounds as if i will have to get a Macro card then, as morrisons is now 68p a litre so hardly worth the effort.
I also think I may need to work out a fuel preheating system for the cold weather.

I did hear that customs and excise were changing the law relating to low volume users / producers of veggie oil based diesel as the cost of collecting
the tax was becoming an issue. ie low / tax free for the first qty of litres. Not sure about the exact details though.
A few years back a mate of mine had a Fina petrol station. I was amazed at just how little he made from fuel sales. On its own the fuel sales didnt
support him being open. He had to make the shop viable to give him a wage from it. Eventully he closed up as it wasnt worth the effort.

1/2 the price, it wont be long before it's 2/3rds the price and then guess what, it will cost the same as unleaded.
that was thee way wit hdiesel - used to be 1/2 price but once deisel engined cars started to appear andthe captive market number increased so did the
price of diesel. now it is more expensive than unleaded.
same thing is bound to happen, how can it not?
