haven't even started though we have all agreed not to go nuts and just buy small useful presents. I'm getting a set of lights for my beetle

done most of it, just need to get my 3 cousins stuff (chocolate santa or similar from Thornton's so thats easy) and something for the mrs (not a cue what to get her lol)

we've got nearly everything off amazon / ebay, so much better than queueing for hours

I used to do all mine at the last min' but not anymore. Since my sister died of cancer, I now send a donation to Cancer Research UK for the amount I'd normally spend on X-mass presents. Only the kids in the family get a present.

On top of that I also make a direct debit payment that replaces birthday presents and cards.

I've made all my presents this year including knives (ground stock steel, angle grinder, oil stone and a little bit of wood makes a locost bushcraft/ulitity knife ^__^) and a rocking chair.

If you hate wrapping presents just use tin foil, take seconds and no tape required

Genius

My mrs appears to have done pretty much all of mine now, every time she goes out she comes back and says 'oh, I saw something that I thought would be really good for X, so I bought it'. I think she actually started her christmas shopping some time around february (i'm not kidding). She's a bit of a xmas nutter. I however have just got back from another mind numbingly dull afternoon babysitting Santa (all 6 of them) and the elves, so i'm in a homicidal mood. I suppose we balance each other out really

We are more traditional, we leave it until the week before Christmas and then PANIC!
