Need help - Retro Cars Magazine for the US
Hello all -
I want to buy an issue of Retro Cars (the current one if I am correct) that has the Escort and MBG on the cover and says "V8 Frenzy" as
the headline as seen on http://www.retrocarsmag.com/.
However, the ordering site is http://www.carmags.co.uk/index2.html, and they show a different picture for buying the current issue (I believe with a
Citroen and Alfa? on the cover).
Is the picture at carmags.co.uk just a generic cover shot, or is that accually the issue that I will get?
I live in the United States so it's hard for me to go down to the bookstore and look...

the curent one has a ford fiesta and a peugeot 205 on the cover not a citroen and a alfa.
i think the one with the escort and the mg on the front is an old one but if you email them and ask them to send you a copy im sure they would.

Think that was the 1st edition (think we're on #4 now). Back editions still being advertised in the mag.
Am getting them myself if still available. If they don't send to US of A, u2u me and i'll sort out two copies when i order.

The one issue I've seen I thought was awesome - it's the issue of the 3 B-series rally replicas, but the supplemental articles are just
awesome...
I especially like the 4 or 5 page write-ups on the specific motors, telling you how much power they are capable of, how much to expect to spend,
dimensions, popular applications, and so forth - I always wished that someone would do that!! Too bad for me, most of the things they talk about are
not available in the US, but importing is always an option...

The V8 frenzy issue is the current one,had a quick skim through in Asda this morning.

It seems that publications on your side of the pond are a lot better than the crap that Primedia procudes over here. Of the ~150 pages of a Super
Street or Sport Compact Car, 75 will be nothing but ads, and another 25 of nothing but girls. I have nothing against girls, but we have Maxim and
Playboy for that...
