This is a cracking thread
I suggest we have one every year so people can look back and see what's been achieved.

+Saw my son (11) and daughter (14) much more this year as a result.
-Worked much more - saw a lot of my business clients move to Eastern Europe had my worst year in 12 years.
+Assisting in the design of the latest Rolls Royce engines - should see my business increase again...
+Went to the Gym and played Squash MUCH more...

Mmm Had appendix removed, caught infection, lost 2 stone in 4 days, spent 2 1/2 weeks in hospital, was off work for 6 weeks and spent the rest of the
year working my arse off. Very little progress on the car.
On the upside I got my tig (thanks calvinx) and we went to Newark and met a few of you guys. Agriv8, bigrich and marcmnr to name a few. As it is now
xmas eve and I am no longer in BAH HUMBUG mode
Merry xmas to you all
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

i started 2007 by chasing a guy about the railway at 00:05 and then caught a drunk driver about 03:00 a very eventful night.
i started my haynes roadster in april, something i have always wanted to do. i just didnt think i could do it but with advice and the fact that so
many people on here were building i jumped in and for that i thank you all and for answering my sometimes(mostly) stupid questions.
i also found out in april my wife was expecting my second child which is due on the 1st of January (no drink for me)
lost my father in november
started to speak to my brother again after 3 years without threatening to kill him. (its true what they say you can pick your friends but not your
family)
looking forward to 2008 a new start, a new family member, new challenges at work and at home hopefully getting my car to a rolling chassis by the end
of 2008
merry xmas and a happy new year
all the best for 2008

Started 2007 by sorting my locost out with a tax disc.... ended it by getting its first MOT.
At work spent the year working on a voltage feedback system I patented - should be demonstrating it in a month or so.
The electric car project now has a finished chassis, body at the paint shop & motor at the rewinders.
School electric car came 5th in the national final & next years is designed & well underway & ought to be a winner.....
Set my brother up with some power conditioners for his "solar powered automatic gates" business - 5 sets now insatlled at lead
customer.
Drove the locost less than 400 miles - what pi55 poor weather we've had!
So been busy & with a good measure of success, so quite happy. Not enough sex though.........
