sorning a car and insurance
evening all?
if you sorn your car can you pospone the insurance until you put it back on the road?

Some insurance companies will let you. Some insurance companies have a "no refund" policy and they won't (or they'll charge
you exorbatant fees to do it).

Flux won't do it on my policy - it's either insured or not.
If your car is roadworthy etc, and there's a reason you're keeping it off the road (like cos it's winter), I'd at least
arrange third party fire and theft.

I have to agree, a theft doesn't check for road tax

Just get fire&theft (storage) cover, no point paying for third party if you won't be driving.
