Glue down carpet tiles in garage

Getting ready for my next build and have been offered a load of carpet tiles for free. They do have a tendency to move about so what would be good to stick them down so they don't move? nothing too permanent.

Thanx

Mmmm carpet, best garage upgrade I made! Every time we have some new stuff laid the off cuts get added to the layers I have down already...will need a ramp to get in soon!

If the floor is smooth use spray adhesive on the back of the tile and fit them tight together, they will not move but will lift up easily. For a bit more permanent job put adhesive on the floor and on the tile back and let it tack off before you lay them.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Andy-mate

I doubt you will have a lot of luck glueing anything to your garage floor, its not exactly flat level smooth is it.

I would give the carpet tiles a miss and get an offcut from your local carpet shop, just roll it out.
