SAGA insurance

Sad but true

I have reached the 50's milestone & now qualify for Saga insurance for my tin top

Today my Norwich union renewal quote came for my Mazda 626

A whopping £297

I have been online for a few quotes

Saga have quoted £131 fully comp
How low is that !!!
Same level of cover too.

The question is: How do Saga stack up when it comes to making a claim ??

I have been with Norwich union ( General accident in the old days ) for over 25 years.
1 claim during that time. Not my fault. Total loss. They settled the cliam within 3 weeks & paid out top book price.

Other members of my family have not been so fortunate when it comes to making a claim with some of the other online brokers.

I would welcome peoples views on Saga.

An awfull lot of money to be saved this year.

To swap or not to swap. !!??
That is the question.

Ronnie

Saga are fantastic! I got hit by a Saga customer at midday on a Friday and there was a letter on my doorstep Sat morning saying they take full responsibility and they will get it all sorted.

The old woman who hit me apparently sneezed!! looked up and hit me!!

Old people eh!

I'm not suggesting you're old Ronnie!!

I found Saga to be quite expensive and this year went with Kwik-Fit for my runabout - they even threw in a 'free' MOT, oil change & filter and spread the premium over 12 months.
