Doing A Ned!!!
It seems to me that there's a few people on here during the day when they are probably at their place of work, some people only appear on here
when they are at work (NED).
So I propose that we have term for someone accessing this forum from work.
You would be said to be 'Doing A Ned'................
I suppose technically I am 'NEDDING' right now!!
Or am I just trying to increase my numbers of postings?

Us office wallahs do little else than play on the internet, buying poo you don't need on Ebay, and getting paid for the pleasure. Nice system!
It also leaves more time at night to go through the P0rn sites!!

my objection to going online from home is the pathetic pace of a 56k modem, my office connection is 100mb to my pc and 1gigabit out from the basement
of the building. I also like to have a break from the pc when i get home and have other things to be gettting on with.
i know i'm not the only one 'nedding' as surrey dave says, though i'm used to the ribbing i often get by now.
At least I'm no longer the quickest posting ex-newbie, and am building a car.

even 150k seems terrible.... cant imagine 100m connection, blink and its gone! i just have three windows open at once, one here, one ebay and one
floating around elsewhere.
technically im nedding too now cos im in my home 'office'!

I only have 56k modem at home so I'd say I was 'Chuffing ' rather than 'Gusting', I dont know what I'd do all
evening if I had a 100mb connection, as my car was finished in 2000 Neddo

I often 'Ned' according to this terminology, but the trouble is I don't get paid for it as I work for myself - all time online at
work I should be earning money to buy bits with

In fact the last few days has been a bit low posting wise....feels strangely liberating
Last few days has been busy preparing for the trip, so not a lotta time at work to 'catch up'.
And last night, I saw a movie at the pikkies.

The League of Gentlemen. So bad, you really must see it.
total total total bollox. makes me angry just to think about it.

Steve, do you know Chicago at all?
I had a great night out on Division St which just north of downtown....a bar every 20 yards and crumpet everywhere..
Also, "Dicks last restort" is a great eating place...they have deliberately rude staff and allow tables to have rolled up paper towel
battles......
It certainly seemed fun after a few beers anyway.....
Enjoy the trip and I'll make sure this rabble doesn't take the p**s while you are gone...

Most of the time im gonna be in a backwater called kenosha, over the border in wosconsin.
a couple days im gonna be in mccormic (?) exhibition centre. No doubt will go to a restaurant someplace - as I did on the same trip 2 years back. Its
all a blur when on abusiness trip like this tho.
I have been to chicago / kenosha area about 7 times - never really seen chicago cos of work and dark winter nights - just about the only season I get
to go.
Went to venice beach area in california mid 90's in nice weather. It really IS like baywatch. girls on blades. scanty clad. thought id died and
