Help with shipping an engine
I bought a Climax fire pump off Fleabay and now have a problem with shipping it. My consolidator wants to classify it as dangerous goods because its
had petrol and oil in it. So, we've come to the conclusion that if it were to be broken down in to "engine parts" it wouldnt be
classified as "dangerous". To get to the point does anyone know of someone or some shop that would be willing to collect it from Davies
Turner near Heathrow and dissassemble the motor for me? Beer, money etc can be provided.
Cheers,
Rod

Plenty of people like Malc from Yorkshire Engines manage to send engines via a courier so cant see why its such an issue that it needs stripping down
to parts!!
I'm sure you will find a courier who can do it for you if its on a pallet. How heavy is it anyway???

I used to work for the CBC in London and we used shippers Wilders based at Heathrow. We sent stuff via them to Canada and all over the world,
including petrol generators. They would pick up from your supplier in Heathrow.
They're very helpful and will help if they can. Try mail@wildersairfreight.co.uk
