New Ariel Atom
I've searched on here and this came up negative, but I still apologise if this is a double-post.
Ariel are releasing their fastest model yet, the Atom 500, powered by a 2.4
litre V8 and knocking out 1000bhp/tonne

This bloke has spent the last few months fitting a 2.8l V8 in his Atom, I bet he's annoyed that you can
buy 'em from the factory ready to go

Which suddenly flips, pinning you underneath.

Made me laugh really.
Double the power to weight of a veyron?
What a waste. It will never be able to use it, unless they put a full aero body on it.
Another thing is the flatshifter.
I got slated recently for using one on the atom forum. I wonder how many of those people will now eat their words?
I am heading over there now to stir it up!

Looks like they just shrugged you off Nitram. Them people there really are stuck up their own jacksies eh and seem to know nowt other than how to get
loans and spend them. Just been having another quick read and my favourite line is
"people such as you have achieved no more than cheapening the brand, and thus, have stalled the evolution of the original product."
Kinda like people such as that have stalled the evolution of the human race. You'll never progress unless you try. Monkey!

I can see these things being huge amounts of fun, for approximately 12 secs. Then you go through the nearest hedge upside down, backwards and on fire.
But with the biggest grin ever! Not sure I'd actually want to flat shift in something that mental. The slightest imbalance at the back and
you're going backwards again!

1. Anyone who buys a car because of the brand rather than it fitting their wants/needs is a numpty of the first order whose opinion can be
disregarded.
2. How can one person producing a car for themself have 'stalled the evolution of the original' unless Ariel have been waiting for him to
finish before copying his ideas? Alternatively there could be a shedload of people who have decided to buy a Motaleira instead.

Surely with all that power in such a light car, you will need all sorts of traction control just to keep it going in a straight line! 0-100 time
should be impressive if they can get the power down to the tarmac.
Absolutely bonkers ....... but I would love a test drive
Cheers,
