For those of you that have nothing better to do...

...my brother is making some description cards for some demonstrations he is doing this week and needs some help.
He has done the meals but is struggling with the sweets.
The ones he needs are:
Apple and Blackberry Crumble
Golden Syrup Sponge
Lemon Sponge
Bread and Butter Pudding
Rice Pudding

He just needs a scentence or two for each one. Any help much appreciated. (Apologies for any rumbling stomachs during the reading of this thread but it is close to lunch time )

Rice pudding - Tasty desert derived from 'Oryza glaberrima', a plant of the grass family native to tropical and subtropical southern Asia and southeastern Africa. Combined with milk and other ingredients (sugar, spices etc), rice pudding really is a winner enjoyed all around the globe!

Lemon Pudding - lemon juice, with a pH of 2 to 3, forms the basis of this magnificent pud. Lemons entered Europe (near southern Italy) as early as 200 A.D. during the time of Ancient Rome, it doesn't take this long to make one however as it is a simple desert to make. Tasty and light, a family favourite!
