Ultimate sleeper

I've seen this posted on usenet, but I don't know if it's been posted about here.

It's a Ford Model "A" restored/built for Juha Kankkunen by *these chaps*

*Video here*.

Stock looking.

Even down to the wooden wheel spokes.

Hmmmm, looks vaguely familiar....

After reading more about it, it has a secret "misfire" switch on the gearstick, so at idle it can sound like the proper "chuff chuff chuff" original engine genius...

Definitely worth spending a few minutes looking at the 200 build pictures.

The other projects are worth a look too, the Celica looked like it'd been stored on the seabed

If you want a rusty A type for cheap, then Brazil is the place to be. They're still driving around in them there.

Shipping it costs more then what you have to pay for it over there.
