TinTop Windscreen Damage

Looking for advice here.

Long story short... I had a wee stone trapped in my widscreen wiper blade and it's put a sodding great scratch in my windscreen, note the use of the "in" this is quite deep.

Any good products to try and polish it out a bit? It's just passed it's MOT so it's not a real problem until next year but it's anoying enough to want to fix. I have windscreen cover but I don't know if a scratch will be covered. Don't want to ask incase of an.... ahem normal claim!

Any suggestions?

You could always hit the screen with the brick.

Saw this in the Frost catalogue the other day

No idea how good it is.

Who's your insurer. 99% of the insurers let you have windscreen claims without affecting your NCD. Usually no excess if they can polish it out or £50-60 excess for a new screen.
