Ebay complaints

I see many moans about greedbay.
May be some one like "locostbuilders.co.uk" should start a locost-bay.
Sellling our suplus kitcar related parts would be a good start.
How many of us are wating for a good alternative.

couldn't agree more

In the last few weeks I have bought from ebay:
Set of R1 carbs - seller admitted he never sent them but hasn't given me a refund.

A pair of DCOEs that turned out to be DCOMs.

An Exhaust manifold that the seller took an angle grinder to to fit into a much too small box.

and an inlet manifold that has a crack in it.

I'm getting thoroughly cheesed off with it all!

I think that to run an auction site would be a massive undertaking though and probably a lot more hassle than it's worth unless you just have the same automated dispute process that ebay does that is all but useless.

Unhappy, broke and the owner of a pile of useless junk!
John
