rI have seen somethign similar to that before. I am no supporter of the speed cam campaign (unless they are in genuine danger areas, and not laservans
parked in hedges to 'get the numbers up' ). Any letter from ' a group of officers' could have been written by anyone.....

PS - did you ever read the letter I got from my local MP that actually admitted that people coming into the 'police state of northants'
would speed, not knowing the measures in force here, and provide 'useful revenue'.....on nice house of commons paper with a signature, not
anonymous police officers...

Yep...been out of the country 9 years but still made me mad......
