A long way to go I think. He was lifting ammo boxes with that hook on his hand then two lab nerds were carrying them back! You don't need an exoskeleton, you need an Army issue nerd!

I saw that. You know all though sci-fi films predicting grim futures with super soldiers and robot enforcers. Looks like they'll be true in a decade or two.

They're going to build TVs into them? They're exoskeletons that soldiers "wear" to make them stronger and faster. They're not robots or anything.

I know what it is, it’s like a small version of the thing Ripley used in Aliens to fight the queen, but when you have a pile of soldiers hanging around why not use them? All these things are usually power demanding so would need a generator or an long extension lead That’s probably why we don’t see ones like in the film, by the time it has an engine etc it’s then too heavy to move faster than a geriatric.

I remeber my first day in the RAF. My new Sgt. said to us " Welcome tho the Air Force, you've all now signed up for 9 years. You'll be spending 2/3rds of that hanging around." He weren't wrong!

glad I never joined then

I was going to be an airframe technician, even sat the exam, changed my mind last minute when a good oil job appeared.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

After that facing certain death against the enemy will seem like relief.
