According to the saleswoman, should the demand be high, manufacturers will go further and launch a series of themed Third Reich toys, including interiors of Hitler's chancellery, toy concentration camps with barbed wire, barracks and operating models of gas chambers and crematoriums.

I think for many people who must be buying these things it's pretty easy not to greatly effected that part of history. Nowadays we see plenty war films that make the whole thing not seem that terrible.

I saw it like that until just after the Berlin Wall fell I visited an ex Nazi concentration camp in the former East Germany. It had been pretty well preserved as it had been used by the East German secret police for holding politcal prisoners.

The bullet holes, inceneration chambers and labs for live autopsy experiments were pretty much in tact.

That day certainly fused my views on the issue.

Developments like this doll are pretty worrying.

Anyway, back to my wiring.

Your quite right, lessons are quickly forgotten so it can happen all over again, even in this country, and this is how it starts -

I visited "Mauthausen" once, that gave me enough information to see that (the) war was/is a terrible thing.

I hope it never happen again.
