Any interweb guru's now how to.....

I just logged onto ITV 'watch again thingy' to find something to watch on pc, I selected 'Britain's got talent' for my sins however message came up 'not available outside UK'

Can I trick it into thinking I'm in the UK ?

is it done through a web browser, or do you have to install a special application to do it?

if it is through a web browser you could try setting it up to use an open uk based proxy on the internet

aah ok.. its just that i use the 4od service, and you have to install an application to use it.

if you look on this site:

http://www.xroxy.com/proxy-country-GB.htm

find a HTTP proxy, and then put that into the proxy setting on your browser.

All you surfing traffic will be directed through that server, so to the host it should look like you are surfing from within the UK.

What browser are you using, and ill tell you where you need to be to enter the proxy settings

for IE click on:

Tools > internet options

then in the window that pops up click:

Connections, then the Lan settings button. you can then enter the details of one of the proxy settings in there
