Anyone else having mobile problems?

I'm on Orange and since yesterday I haven't been able to receive SMS from other people. Strangely I can send a text to myself without problem (and my inbox is half empty so it's not lack of space)!! I can also send to other people. I can ring other peoples and there's no problems receiving calls.

Interestingly both people who sent SMS to me a on Vodaphone (even if one is Tesco mobile but IIRC they use the vodaphone network)....

Anyone else having missing SMSs??!?!?! If it was my phone I would have expected my SMS to myself to have failed?!?

I had the same problem with my phone, also on vodafone.
It got sorted when I did a software update on my phone using a cd i got with it.

I had some other problems with my phone (K850i) so I took it to be repaired at the carphone warehouse on oxford street, next to John Lewis, got it back the next day and it was fine.

dont upgrade till you check with your provider, ive been having the exact same problem with Vodafone for last month, i looked on their forum web site and there is hundreds of complaints, what they siad to do in the mean time is to do a manual network roam and try to connect to a different network, it will not alow you to connect then manually reconnect to you own provider and all teh stuck messages will come through. hope it helps
