my megane is due a service in 1500 miles does anyone know how to reset the service light as i will be doing it myself and dont fancy paying a small fortune to the main dealer

it would help if i told you the year and model its a 2004 1.4 dimonuiqe (spelling)

I took the bulb out the dash on my volvo...so far its never came on again

From memory, scroll through on the computer through the mileage and fuel economy messages until you get to the change oil message and then simply hold down the button till it clears. Worked on my own Mk1 megane and pretty sure this is how we did it on the Mk 2 as well (I worked for an independant garage for a year)

on my old astra you used to hold down the reset trip computer when you had the key in the ignition 'live' for about 10 or 15 seconds before starting it.
