700%+ profit.......
Just saw my old motorbike on ebay for £5k. Considering I sold it for £650 2 months ago and even when I first brought it in 2003 it as only £3k
Spot the buyer about to get shafted.

That is nature of business - an item is only worth as much as the buyer will pay and the seller accepts.
It is also sunny now which will add at least 20 % to bikes, convertibles and kit cars.
Can't say I think it is work 5 big ones, probably around 2.

Not my thing at all, but I can appreciate the work in it, £650 is nearer the mark than £5k from my view.

Very difficult to price... for me it's in the high hundreds to low teens.
No doubting that a lot of time / money went into it though.

Hmmm Looks nice, perhaps I will offer him £650
Did The current owner pay £650 for it, and was it in this condition with those Mods on it when you sold it for £650?.
Just curious.

Yes the bike was in the same condition when I sold it. The odd exhaust can was put on by the guy who built the bike as the full race Cobra system was
"very restrictive"....hmmmm. Some people will believe anything the're told. I'm glad it's gone as i've got my
garage back but pitty the poor sod who may well cough up close to that price, on the back of a creative discription, for something that could be built
with a much better finish for less than half that.
