Chinese takeaway m

Just had one through the door that reaches number 339 in meal options.

Surely this is a record?

Aha! But are there definately 339 options?

Sometimes its like hotels, you find you're in Room 339 but in fact that's just the 39th room on the 3rd floor and there aren't really 339 rooms...

IE 1xx could be starter, 2xx could be main course, 3xx could be side dishes...

I still like the take away in Oakham (Rutland, near my parents live) called

Wok This Way

Always makes me smile (and hum a certain riff for the rest of the day)

You know some locosters have over active analytical minds but yup 339 options.

Whilst recommending takeaways not really a takeaway but they do, the Plough, Pleasly on the A617 on the way to Mansfield, old English pub, taken over by Chinese who do a Sunday buffet to die for.......

Very Very Velly highly recommended if your passing.......... <- tongue licking plate.......

I used to use that one when i lived in Oakham. Some proper kitcar roads around there!! Went to Stamford rather rapidly one day, but much more fun was dropping my colleague (a Porsche techy) in a 996 Carrera 4S going to Cottesmore

I was amazed he couldnt keep up despite never once going over the 60mph limit (officer)

Best not tell you i had spagetti bolgnese then - and that it was absolutely lovely. Just need a pint or 3 to finish off with now. I'm off to the pub soon myself anyway so will be both fed and watered very nicely.

A nice curry wouldnt go amiss this weekend either!!

I'm longing for the day I get my Locopan up there

If you know the roads well you can have a laugh!! Once I drove convoy from Oakham to Nottingham after a mate picked up a 3 year old Porsche 996 GT3.... I went in front in my 10 year old Micra!! Managed to lose him twice. Then again, I was prepared to give it more beans on the corners as he had more to loose (including 3k worth of insurance!!!!)....
