At first i put too much on the bottom, make the bottom less complicated, then put loads of triangulation over the track.

Ive got to level 8, but havent tried it, it looks huuuge.

If u want i will do a screen dump so u can see it, but i thought i would let you try a bit more first.

level 8

I found level 8 to be the most chalenging of the demo levels because of the difrent hight at each end of the bridge if any one is intrested in solotions I can post them if you are intrested to all the demo levels.

Wait till you get to bridge 10!
The final one is absolute murder! Had me very frustrated.
Got it eventually tho'.

Im trying the 3D version "Pontifex" now and am stuck on what should be a simple bridge (9).
Any one done that?

Terry

How did you get on with bridge 9?
I can't link the centre supports to anything! Even trying it as a suspension bridge it won't hold up.
The centre pillar supports seem to be slightly offset and you can't build onto them in "Normal" mode.

hi like you say the supports for level 10 are off set so you have to use the complex editing mode to use them.

however if the brige below is relativly simple and compleates the level I think it it a trus brige but it uses a comon back bone element.

see my profile for a pick

the are lots of solotions beter than this.

I would be intrested to see how other have compleated level 8 though
