As I fly 6-8 time a month, I was pleased to find not too many 'Horror' stories for my chosen airline (Lufthansa).

May be should post mine.

Picture the scene, my first comercial flight ever, on my own, first flight for my new employers (was actually flying BA at that point). I arrived early for the airport as I had never been inside an airport before. flying from Birmingham to Frankfurt. flight was as expected untel we started to do tight turns in the air (wasnt sure what was going on), pilot come on tanny saying we were delaying and having to hold x miles (cant remember how many) from airport.

No problem, a few moans about beening late but I didnt mind, sit in a plane or the office, makes little difference to me I thought. Next thing I know is the pilot is back say 'Sorry folks we have to go and land somewhere we are running low on fuel and air-traffric control cant get us in in time' (actaul words). What seems like ten minutes passed and we landed, turned out it was a US army base and we had landed without clearance, just to get out of the air. Next think we know we are surrounded by jeeps and guns while our pilot is ouside with the american express card trying to buy fuel.

The americans would not let us off the plane, so there we sat surrounded by men and guns until we got fuel and back to frankfurt.

Well that asside, interesting fact the seats (econ. class) on a lufthansa 737, are the exact same width as required by a book chassis locost!!!!! I get bored on planes!!!.

Cor, Ned - what a wet blanket you are! Sureley one could get around the weight issue (and its slightly more exotic than ones ripped from a bedford rascal!!)

Maybe, would have to just take the foam & leather.

Would fit some colour schemes, grey leather with yellow piping.

But not for me, wife and the very nice lady (cant remember her name , Sorry) at Luego chose my colour ages ago and it's not yellow.
