£1.30

Well ok, £1.29.9 I paid for bog standard diesel on the M5 today......... Scary.

3 months ago I would struggle to over £70 in tank, today I broke the £100 barrier.........

how the hell does he work his figures out

Easy he works out how much money is needed and then divides it out over various motoring related taxes/fines.
he may be scottish but he's a smug looking tucking fwat
For what it's worth Jon diesels be 1.29.9 here for more than a week

If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

DERV is £1.32.9 at the RIX place up the road from me!!

I also fill up everytime I'm passing Dinnington ('Fords Corner'?)

Otherwise, it's 5p a litre off at the local Safeway supermarket (which is still 30 miles away!)

And whilst we're on the subject.....

I was talking to a chum who services taxis and he says the taxi companies have been given a letter from the authorities, informing them of a rise in tariff to enable them to overcome the cost of DERV which is projected to be £1.55 by mid summer. Great.
