OT - Series 3 Landy Q.....
Hi guys, sorry for a bit of a curve ball but hoping someone can help me out. Does anyone know what size and thread the nuts need to be on a series 3
SWB wheel cylinder? Are they 1/2" UNF?? I haven't got a clue about imperial sizes and don't keep a stock of them! Also, anyone
know a good source online for imperial nylocs etc? I know about tifosi but used them ages ago and wasn't impressed....Screwfix don't have
them and P&P at £6 is a bit OTT! Thanks in advance....Oli.

namrick will have 'em. give them a phone though, coz if you order on the net, a standard postage cost applies, phone them and it'll be
cheaper

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Straining the menory cells. Are they studs in the cylinders? Think they're 1/4"UNF; if they are, the hex will be 7/16". If the hex
is 1/2" then they're 5/16".

I supppose I should know this but don't
but they are never gonna be 1/2 - that is hooooge!!!
stage 1 shows this to be part number SH605041L - I would guess it is either 5/16 or 1/4 UNF; if I remmeber, I'll take a look tonight.

1/2 inch sounds right, they are huge

The nuts might be 1/2 AF but not 1/2 UNF which is a thread size . If the brake pipe nuts are imperial they are likely to be 3/8"unf . If metric
10mm.
