Cillit Bang?

Has anyone tried Cillit Bang on Aluminum engine parts to remove light corrosion?

Why is it every time I see that name I miss read it?

Yet to find out what exactly this stuff does cos I thought it was rubbish, smells nice though

I find wd40 and an old rag fairly good at light corrosion. That or vinegar. Any light acid really.

Anyone noticed on the latest TV advert it proudly states- Use on Stainless "steal"! Probably just me!

Nice spelling - shocking! Standard of English these days.....

It contains Phosphoric acid = "Naval Jelly" or "Jennolite"

Boiled up Rhubarb leaves also work quite well

I thought I was imagining that last night! Saw it, thought "Nah, must have mis-read it!"

Now I'm going to have to watch that cr*ppy advert again to make sure...
