Rover K series

Guys i've got my hands on mg midget, shell is mint, and has most parts in boxes. It came with a K series engine, but it has no fuel injection or carbs set up nothing, has any one put bike carbs onto this engine etc, also if i did use this engine in the car what ignition set up would work best. I've used MBE /and omex systems on the rally cars in the past but they're a bit pricy for this yoke.

UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

Megasquirt it.

Or go rob some bits from a scrappy.

Depends on if you want standard or tuned.

if you rob from scrappy, you will need the ecu, 5as security unit, and the key fob. They need to be a matched set.

Ray have you bought a bell housing for the conversion,

Megajolt is it easy to use, i have read a bit about it on here but have no experience at all with these units, i've never even seen one.

I've got a K series but with standard ECU gubbins, etc.

GeoffT put a K series with throttle bodies or bike carbs (or something...) on his - U2U him and/or look in his archive for pics.

Have mejajolt with Bike carbs on a Zetec - Easy to work with - works on the KISS principle.

Or as said go FULL injection with fancy aftermarket ECU.

Scot's do it better in Kilts.
