PV cells...where to get them?
Im toying with the idea of seeing what equipment at home I can power for free...
The easiest way of doing this is to get some photovoltaic cells (solar pannels) and stick them on the roof....
I have some cunning electricery circuits to convert the sporadic energy into something useable...
Obviously the larger the power output of the pannels the better...
Had a look on ebay and there are quite a few on there, but they seem rather expensive and proberably are rubbish quality..
Anyone have any experience in PV cells and know a cheap source for good quality pannels? (Or perhaps give an idea of how much I should be paying per
W)

They are easy to obtain if you look around.
Many are used to power traffic cameras, parking meters etc and simply require a bit of force to remove, best of all they are free.
Failing that what about wind power? A petrol powered still saw will deal with most masts, there just a bit difficult to conceal from the neighbours
who might grass you up. Best to tell them you won it.

What about re-tiling your roof with solar powered calculators.

Given that you can create electricity from a lemon, surely you answer is to grow vast quantities on your roof and wire all the lemons together, you
will have endless power for free and could squeeze them afterwards and sell the juice. I wonder if it would taste different after you have ‘drained’
them?
It would be like the ‘MATRIX’ except with lemons instead of people
‘What is the MATRIX? It is to turn a Lemon into one of these…’
look light your house with just 4 lemons!!!!
