Solid works toolbox help!
Anyone here know a thing or two about Solidworks?
Im trying to use magic fastener thingie, but every time I select it from the menu it tells me that the "toolbox" is not installed...
But when I installed SW I did install the toolbox...infact I even ununstalled it all and tried again, but still the magic fasteners wont work!!!!
Any ideas?
Is there any other way of importing bolts etc?

I get similar myself..to be honest never been too bothered to need it. It's only rarely will I put hardware in..maybe to check clearance and
access sometimes but never routinely. A lot of my fastners I download from McMaster.com lots of stuff already in SW format.

have you ticked the 'add in'?
go to tools menu, then add ins, then make sure toolbox is ticked. then try it again

YOu should be able to tick a box to ensure that SW starts up with the toolbox add in loaded all the time too, although that is dependant on which
version you have. (2007 onwards IIRC).
